Michael is a lifelong resident of Dublin and Laurens County and continues to remain active in his community. He is a member of First United Methodist Church in Dublin and serves as the Chairman of the Dublin-Laurens County Chamber of Commerce and the Laurens County Airport Commission. He also serves on the Morris Bank Board of Directors and the Dublin-Laurens County Land Bank Authority.

Michael is married to the former Natalie Theriot of Marietta and they have two boys, Davis and Charlie. His goal is to build upon his family business legacy and perpetuate it for future generations. Michael graduated from Georgia Southern University in 1996 with a B.A. in finance with an emphasis in risk management. He has also completed insurance coursework and holds the designation of Accredited Advisor of Insurance (AAI), enabling him to hold a Counselors License for the State of Georgia.

Lee is a native of Wrens, Georgia and has lived in Dublin since 1997. Lee is married to the former Karen Sermons of Dublin and they have three daughters, Emilee, Ella, & Anna. Lee graduated from the University of Georgia with a bachelor’s degree in math education. Lee has served on the Board of Directors of the Dublin Country Club and as president of the Emerald City Football Officials Association. Lee is an active member of Dudley Baptist Church.

Bill is a native of Dublin-Laurens County and joined the Curry Maffett Insurance team in 2012. Bill is married to the former Kassie Daniel of Dublin, and they have son named Will. Bill graduated from West Laurens High School in 2006 and earned his bachelor’s degree in history at Georgia Southern University in 2010. Bill completed insurance coursework and holds the designation for Certified Authority on Workers Compensation. Bill is a Deacon at Poplar Springs North Baptist Church and an active member of Dublin Exchange Club.

Originally from Evans, Baylee is the newest member of the Curry-Maffett team. He’s a recent graduate of Georgia College & State University where he received a bachelors in management, with a minor in finance. Baylee recently proposed to his fiancé Alleigh Gates and they are planning the big day in April 2022. Other than graduating during a global pandemic, his other talents include being Lee’s nephew, he’s a disc golf extraordinaire, and proud dog dad to Samson, his yellow lab.

Wendy is a native of Laurens County and attended East Laurens High School, graduating in 1994. She then earned her B.S. in biology from Georgia College and State University in 1998. Formerly Wendy Baggett, she is married to Russell with two children, Ethan and Madison. Wendy came to Curry Maffett in 2015 and is a licensed Georgia agent with emphasis on supporting the commercial lines accounts within the agency. Wendy is active in her church, Liberty Baptist Church, and enjoys hobbies such as tennis and softball.

Janet is a native of Chester in Dodge County, Georgia and has been a resident of Laurens County since 1987. Prior to joining the Curry Maffett Insurance team in August of 2017, she worked at GEICO for 17 years in the personal lines customer service management division. Her educational background includes Dodge County High School, Middle Georgia College, and GEICO insurance training and development. She has two children and grandchildren. In her spare time, she enjoys music, art, and poetry.

Originally from St. Augustine, Florida, Ashley moved to Dublin-Laurens County in 2016 after marrying her husband, Jake Ellington. The two met in 2014 while racing motorcycles at the Herrin Compound in Laurens County, and now have a sassy little girl named Nova. She graduated from Siena Heights University in 2013 with a B.A. in sign language interpreting. Upon moving to Dublin, Ashley became a firefighter for the City of Dublin where she worked prior to joining Curry Maffett Insurance in 2019. She is an avid member of CrossFit DGA where she enjoys coaching part-time.
